Location

BIR 2026 is hosted by the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in Olten. The conference will take place at the modern Olten campus, located within a short walking distance from the city center and the main train station. A variety of hotels and restaurants are available in close proximity to the venue. 

Olten is a major railway hub in Switzerland, with direct train connections to Zürich, Basel, and Bern, each reachable in less than one hour. The city is also well connected by regional trains and buses. Ticket information for public transportation can be found at: www.sbb.ch/en
